Throwbacks–Three Sci-Fi Movies and Popcorn

One of my favorite pastime is watching old movies. I love Sci- Fi film with a  spiritual twist. These two movies are throwbacks that deal with the concept of how would the world change if  God spoke to us  from space? The movies are not  the best quality, but inspirational to seeing how we all fit in the bigger picture. In the film  “ The Next Voice You Hear”  reflect the desire for us all to near from God and how it would change our daily life is God spoke to the world  in  one straight week. I fell in love with this film many years ago.

The second film “ Red Planted Mars” was a recently discovery . The film is very  simple, but very moving. I don’t want to give away the ending so I will leave it at that.  It great  Saturday-rainy-day film to watch with a bowl of popcorn! Check them out! Great movies for encouraging faith!

The third film is” The Flight That Disappeared”. A strange movie that deal with the accountable of scientists  who created bombs that could destroy the world. It kind of slow movie but make good effort to showing how mankind should think before we destroy each other! Curl up on your couch and enjoy!  You can locate a few of these movie son Netflix or YouTube!

I’ll be with you for the next few days.” It turns out, everyone in the world listening to any radio heard the same thing. More messages come; some people react positively, others negatively.Written by Rod Crawford <>  It stars James Whitmore and Nancy Davis as Joe and Mary Smith, a typical American couple. It was based on a short story of the same name by George Sumner Albee

An American scientist contacts Mars by radio and receives information that Mars is a utopia and that Earth’s people can be saved if they return to the worship of God. Revolution sweeps the Earth, including the Soviet Union. But there remains doubt about the messages being genuine, as an ex-Nazi claims he was duping the Americans. It starred Peter Graves and Andrea King and was directed by art director Harry Horner in his directorial debu

The Flight that Disappeared

A transcontinental flight from Los Angeles to Washington DC, carrying three top scientists, unexplainably begins a climb to 10 miles up. With all other passengers unconscious, the scientists find themselves in a dimension where time does not exist.
